For promoting a plant propagation action plan, we need roots, stem cuttings and other parts of the plant.

Roots of medicinal herbs can be purchased from a Botanical shop and planted around gardens, plant nurseries and along the roadside.

Natural or manmade dispersal of plants can be made possible by accumulating a large number of stem cuttings which can again be planted into the soil produce new plants.

The process of giving birth to new plants by existing plants or parts of these plants is called as propagation.   The two types of propagation are sexual and asexual propagation.   Root, stem cuttings and several other parts of the plant can be used for plant propagation.   Medicinal herbs can be propagated in gardens,  plant nurseries and on side of the roads.
