Well, the monocots are one seed leaf which is in the seed coat. It is a thin leaf as an endosperm in order to feed the new plant which is not in the seed leaf. On the other hand, dicots comprise of 2 seed leaves which is in seed coat. These are rounded fat because of the presence of endosperm to feed the embryo plant.
