Monocot seeds are seeds of flowering plants whose seeds have only one embryonic leaf for example the sugarcane seed, rice, onions, garlic, cone maize among many seeds. While on the other hand docots are also flowering plants but these ones have a pair or two cotyledons or leaves. The examples of plants with dicot leaves include mango, grapes, beans, pea and also spinach seeds.

Well, the monocots are one seed leaf which is in the seed coat. It is a thin leaf as an endosperm in order to feed the new plant which is not in the seed leaf.

On the other hand, dicots comprise of 2 seed leaves which is in seed coat.

These are rounded fat because of the presence of endosperm to feed the embryo plant.
