Appeal for Organ Donation
It is a pity that quite a number of patients die before having the chance of life-giving surgeries because of the lack of availability of organs. The availability can hardly meet the demand of organs in public hospitals.
It is encouraging that people have changed their mindsets and have come forward for organ donation. Such donations can save lives. But usually people are reluctant to do so, as they do not know the will of the deceased, and they have preconceived notion of social taboos and shame tending upon the family.
Being the chairman of The Holy Cross Hospital, I would like to make an appeal to you for shedding such notions, and save a life by donating organs. You are encouraged to appeal to your friends . Let's join hands to bring the gift of life to patients.
