Anerobic reaction or respiration is the process done in the absence of oxygen or presence of other gases other than oxygen.

EXPLANATION:

The anerobic respiration is a process which uses glucose and produces low energy in absence of oxygen. It is done when there is a demand of energy in muscles. This reaction occurs in higher level organism and roots of some plant.

It is somewhat helpful for tissue for producing energy. The anerobic reaction is more efficient in energy production than aerobic reaction.
