Answer:

BLOOD DONATION CAMP

Pune, August 19 : A successful blood donation camp was held at the EST Hospital at Raviwar Peth today. Dr. R.C.Patil, who inaugurated the camp, gave short speech on the importance of blood donation.

All the people donors were given a free medical check-up before they donated blood. There were nine doctors in charge of the actual procedures. After the event, every donor was served nutritious snacks and tea. These were arranged by a local NGO, who also helped in the organization of the camp.

"A record number of people have donated blood this year, " said a beaming Dr. Kulkarni."We are very happy that our awareness programme has been successful, and more and more people are coming forward to donate blood. We expect even more donors at the next camp, which will be held on December 26."
