In September the Country Women’s Association (CWA) of NSW & ACT will celebrate CWA Awareness Day and we would like to invite you to assist us in marking this occasion.
In (town / area) we are celebrating the Day by (detail your event / activity here).
We would be delighted if you would join us (to MC our event, open our event, be the guest speaker at our event) to be held at (location) at (time) on Wednesday (day eg. 14th) September.
CWA Awareness Day is designed to help people gain a better understanding of what women in the CWA achieve and the contribution they make to the state. It is a day to reflect on the achievements of the CWA over the years and encourage new women to join so the CWA can continue its work.
Throughout NSW and the ACT, CWA branches meet monthly to take on any number of initiatives – be it fundraising for medical research, lobbying for better services for families or helping out in times of emergency, as well as sharing handicraft and cookery skills.
