Last weekend, I went to a government hospital to see my uncle who was admitted there. As soon as I entered I was impressed by the cleanliness and vast rooms or wards for the patients, there was proper ventilation of air, lights and fans were in very good condition, beds were soft and clean, and the sisters were also friendly and supportive. The food they served to patients was also very hygienic and good and even milk was provided every evening. The hospital provides affordable treatment and affordable medicines.
The staff and doctors were also very supportive and cheerful.
Through this experience, my mindset changed a lot for the image of "government hospitals".
