prepare and prevent don't repair and repent-as a student how would you apply this adage in your academic life

As students we need to be prepared beforehand -  much before our exams arrive knocking on our doors. In this way, we can avert failures and come out with flying colors. It is the ideal way to go about our student life instead of failing, then undoing the damage and repenting. So prepare and prevent is better than repair and repent.
