prepare any two nutritious snacks - one for a child attending an Anganwadi and second for elderly. your answer must be specifh: 1 name of the snack 2 list of ingredients 3 method of preparation 4 food sources contributing to the important nutriant required by specific individual . 5 justify the selection of snack (from nutritional stand point ) for the chilren are for the elderly.

Today I have prepared two healthy snacks one for child and one for elderly.
Name of the snacks are as under:-
1)Dora pancakes fo kids
2)Ghiya ke theple

Dora pancake ingrediants :Eggs,vanila essence,Baking powder,wheat flour,choclete spread
Method : Make a mixture of flour egg vanila essence baking powder.Heat a nonstick pan and put half cup of the batter and spread it in a circular shape.Make two pancakes from it and apply choclete spread in one pancake and place the second pancake above the. first one.

Dora pancakes are favorites snack among kids.It is healthy as it includes eggs.You may use milk of you do my like eggs.

Second Snack it ghiya ke theple
Grate ghiya and mix wheat,besan and curd in it along with spices as per hour taste.Keep it aside for two hours.Now make theplas simply like you make roti or parantha.Add very little oil to theplas and serve hot to elderly with dal or sabzi or chatni.
Benefits -Ghiya is a healthy vegetable.But it is not a favorite among people.But elderly would love to eat it as a thepla.
