The defender seating at the top can observe entire slope and the bottom of the terrain also, but cannot make use of grazing fire.

The attacker will face difficulty while climbing beyond the slope and has no cover for the observation of defender

A terrain feature that is rounded inward like the inside of a bowl, i.e. goes from more steep to less steep. Slope Shape: Whether a slope is concave, convex, or planar makes some difference in avalanche danger, but usually not a significant difference.
