Debate report on new economic policy:

- New Economic Policy was introduced by Lenin in March 1921 at the Tenth party congress.

- The aim of NEP, it represented market- oriented economic policy basically to foster the economy of country which was suffering since 1915.

For:

- It introduced a measure of stability to the economy again.

- It also allowed Soviet people to heal from years of war and governmental mismanagement.

- The NEP was designed to bring capital into the state and help it prosper economically.

Against:

- Due to excess control, the economy become defective.
