4.5 gms of oxalic acid is required to make a M/20 solution of oxalic acid.

Explanation:

M/20 means 0.05 M

so to prepare 0.05 M solution of oxalic acid,

molecular weight of oxalic acid is 90 gram

so to prepare 1M we need 9O gm of oxaloacetete in 1000 ml of distill water

'x'  gms will be needed to make 0.05 M solution

Molarity= no.of moles/volume*1000

no. of moles/ 1000= molarity*volume

                   = 0.05 moles

so, 0.05 moles will be 4.5 gms

4.5 gms of oxalic acid will be dissolved in distil water and volume made upto 1000ml.
