The AP government has caught the nationwide attention with its revolutionary decisions and innovative policies in the education sector. The schemes such as Nadu-Nedu, Ammavodi and Jagananna Gorumudda won the hearts of crores of parents and students while English medium sections in government schools received overwhelming responses from the aspirants. The numbers, in short, speak louder than words. According to reports, several lakhs of students at private schools have preferred to join government schools for the academic year, 2020-21.
And now, like never before, the government provides 'Jagananna Vidya Kaanuka' school kit to every student of government schools from classes 1 to 10. The kit includes a school bag, text and notebooks, three pairs of school uniforms, a belt, a pair of shoes and three pairs of socks.
The top notch quality of notebooks and all other accessories of the school kit has made the students impressed with the kit to the zenith. The prime motive of the scheme to generate interest in learning has immensely been achieved. A total of around 40 lakh students of government schools are said to be the beneficiaries of the scheme while the government spent a whopping amount Rs.640 crore for this student-friendly scheme.
Meanwhile, the CM Mr YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched 'Jagananna Vidya Kaanuka' programme on 8th of October, 2020 at ZPH School, Punadipadu High School of Krishna District.
Needless to say the AP government's earth-shattering decisions in the education field become game changers in achieving quality education in government schools which ultimately make the needy achieve their goals through education.

Good morning and a very warm welcome to everyone gathered here. I am here before you to deliver a speech on "Jaganna Vidya Kaanuka". The entire world has got to know about the innovative schemes and policies imposed in the education sector by the government of Andhra Pradesh.
Some of the most popular schemes include Nadu-Nedu, Ammavodi and Jagananna Gorumudda have won the hearts of crores of parents and students and have brought massive response among the English medium schools.
In a very short span of time, nearly several lakhs of students studying in private schools have preferred joining government schools to pursue their education for the academic year 2020-2021.
In addition to that, now the government has newly introduced Jagananna Vidya Kaanuka school kit to students of government schools from classes 1 to 10. This kit consists of a school bag, textbooks, notebooks, three pairs of school uniforms, a belt, a pair of shoes and three pairs of socks.
The most interesting thing about this kit is that all the notebooks that are provided in this kit are of high quality and have impressed all the students massively.
The main theme behind this scheme was to encourage the interest in learning among children. Nearly, 40 lakh students of government schools are benefitted from this scheme and the government has spent nearly Rs. 640/- crore on this scheme.
Moreover, the Chief Minister Mr YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched Jagananna Vidya Kaanuka programme on 8th October 2020 at ZPH School, Punadipadu High School of Krishna District.
Such dynamic initiatives by the Andhra Pradesh government in the field of education have become a game changer in achieving quality education in government schools so that even economically backward people can achieve their goal in education.
