Prepare the accounting Equation from the fo;;owing Transactions:
• Started business with cash Rs. 3,50,000; Building Rs.5,00,000; Furniture
Rs. 80,000.
• Purchased goods of list price of Rs.50,000 at 20 % trade discount from
M/s Shree Ram.
• Sold One-Fourth of the above goods at a profit of 30% less 20 % trade
discount to M/s Meena and received 50% amount in cash.
• Deposit 80% of the cash available into bank.
• Paid Rs. 20,000 for salary to an employee which includes Rs.3,000 for
next month and salary of another employee Rs. 12,000 is still
outstanding.
• Received Rs.30,000 for commission through a cheque, which include
one-third part as advance commission.
• Withdrew goods worth Rs.5,000 and cash Rs. 3,000 by proprietor for
personal use.
• M/s Meena became insolvent and only 40 paise in a rupee is recovered
from her official receiver.
• Rs.6,000 for interest is accrued.
• Provide 10% interest on capital(opening) and also charge interest on
drawing 5%.
• Taken loan from bank of Rs.50,000.
• Settled account of M/s Shree Ram at a discount of 10% through a cheque.
• Repaid Rs. 12,000 towards loan which includes Rs.2,000 for interest.
