Dear Diary

Ali’s family lived in poor neighbourhood and was in financial trouble. Ali loses the shoes of his little sister Zahra after fetching them from a cobbler. Because of the financial trouble in his house Ali fears to tell his parents about the mishap. He tells Zahra about the shoes and begs her not to tell their mother and she agrees not to tell anyone. While doing their homework they pass notes to each other discussing what to do. They devise a scheme to share Ali’s own pair of worn sneakers until they find a new pair of shoes.
