Do you know what happened yesterday? I made a very big mistake that I have not told anyone. But, I want you to know about it.
You know that my half yearly exams are going on, don’t you? I prepared for my Science exam very well and went to school quite confident of getting excellent marks. Imagine my shock when I saw all my classmates doing their final revision with Geography text books in hand before stepping into the exam hall. When I asked them why they were doing so, they told me that it was Geography exam that day. I could not believe what I heard and checked the exam timetable in my diary.
I had indeed written Geography against yesterday’s date. I was quite upset because I had not prepared for the exam. I had also not bothered to look at the time table and was quite sure that it would be Science exam because the last time I had Science exam after English. So, I had assumed it would be the same way this time also. Luckily, the paper was fairly easy and I could attempt half the paper easily.
I resolved to be more careful in future and check my time table before preparing for my exams.
