Preparing Bills

When we go for shopping, we always pay our bill. A bill is a statement of how much money we must pay for

things we buy on for work done by us. Making a bill is simple. After entering the quantity, item and cost, just

multiply the cost by number of items to get the total and add up the total to get the grand total. Look at the

example given below:

BILL NAME

Name: Date: /06/2021

Quantity Description Cost per item Total cost

1 Tooth paste 21.50/- 21.50

5 Chocolate Bar 11.00/- 55.00

3 Chewing Gum 2.00/- 6.00

Grand Total 82.50

Suppose Mrs Sharma asks for the following articles at M/S Guwahti Groceries. Prepare a bill for these items-

sugar 5 kg- 30/kg, 2 kg, sooji – 45/kg, 8 kg Wheat Flour – 25/Kg, 4 Sanitizer bottle – 80/ bottle, 4 N50 Masks-

300/Piece, 40 pair Gloves----5/piece etc.
