prebyopia -

PRESBYOPIA -

● presbyopia is that the defect of vision due to which an old person cannot see the nearby objects clearly due to loss of power of accommodation of eye.

● the near point of the old person having presbyopia gradually receives the become much more than 25 CM away.

● presbyopia defect is corrected in the same way as hypermetropia by using spectacles having convex lenses.

retina -

● the defect of eye called myopia is caused due to high converging power of eye lens and eyeball being too long.

far \: sightedness -
● hypermetropia ( long sightedness or farsightedness) is that defect of vision due to which a person cannot see the nearby objects clearly.

● the near point of hypermetropic eye is more than 25 CM away.
● hypermetropia is corrected by using spectacles containing convex lenses.
