a)52/24 = 13/6 = 13:6

b) time gap between the present age and when he is 40 years

= 52 - 40 = 12 years

then son age = 24 - 12 = 12 years

40/12 = 10/3 = 10:3

C) 42/14 = 3/1 = 3:1
