from first condition,

x+y=50....... (1)

from second condition,

x-10=5(y-10)

x-10=5y-50

5y-x=40........(2)

adding equations one and two we get,

y = 15

and substituting value of y in equation first we get, x= 35

therefore Hari and shibu are 35and 15 years old respectively
