And

Let the present age of his Mother be = y years.

According to the given Question!!

y = 3x ... Equation i

(12 + y) = 2 (x + 12)

y + 12 - 2x = 24

y - 2x = 24 - 12

y - 2x = 12 ... Equation ii

Now, put value of y in Equation ii we have!!

3x - 2x = 12

x = 12

So, The present Age of his Daughter is 12yeras.
