Present ages of A and B are 20 years and 5 years respectively. After how many
years will the age of A be twice that of B? ​

Let's take the no.of yrs as, x

After x yrs : A's age. = 20 + x

B

Thus, (20 + x) = 2(5+x)

= 20 + x = 10 + 2x

= 2x- x = 20 - 10

= x = 10 yrs

NOW LETS VERIFY……….

A's age after 10 yrs = 20 + 10 = 30 yrs

B's age after 10 yrs = 5 + 10 = 15 yrs

We can see that A is double B's age………

Thus the sum is solved
