let present age = 8x and 15x
Ages before 8 years = 8x-8 and 15x-8
ATQ
8x-8/15x-8 = 6/13
104x-104 = 90x- 48
14x= -48+104
14x= 56
x = 4
present age = 32 and 60
age after 8 yrs = 40 and 68
ratio = 40:68 = 10:17
