Solution:-

Anju and Vikky's ratio present ages be 3x and 4x

5 years from now, the ratio of their ages will be 4 : 5.

So,

(3x+5) and (4x+5)

So their ratio=(3x+5) :(4x+5)

we can write this in fraction form

 =  \frac{3x + 5}{4x + 5}  =  \frac{4}{5}

On cross multiplying we get,

5(3x + 5) = 4(4x + 5)

 = 15x + 25 = 16x + 5

15x - 16x =  + 5 - 25

 =  - 1x =  - 20

x =  \frac{ - 20}{ - 1}

On cancelling we get,

x = 20

After finding we need to find present ages,

4x=4×20=80

5x=5×20=100

Anju age=80 years

Vikky age=100 years

So their present ages are 80 years and 100 years
