Gopal = 5x

after 10 years ages will :- Mohan = 3x+10

Gopal. = 5x+10

and their ratio will be equal to 5:7

Let's form the equation ,

3x+10 /5x+10 =5/7

now cross multiply the equation ,

3x+10 *7 = 5x+10 *5

21x+10 = 25x+50

25x-21x = 50-10

4x = 40

x = 40/4

x = 10

SO,

Mohan = 3x = 3* 10 = 30 year's

Gopal = 5x = 5* 10 = 50 year's
