ratio :- 5:7

let age of Ravi be = 5x

let age of Menu be = 7x

ratio after 4 yrs = 3:4

therefore the equation would be like -

=> (5x+4)/(7x+4) = 3/4

=> 4(5x+4) = 3(7x+4)

=> 20x+16 = 21x+12

=> x = 4

therefore, age of Ravi = 5×4 = 20yrs

age of Menu = 7×4 = 28yrs
