Let the present age of Sanika ani Amir be 4x and 5x

After 8 years,

Age of Sanika = 4x + 8

Age of Amir = 5x + 8


According to the given condition

\dfrac{4x + 8}{5x + 8} = \dfrac{5}{6}

☛ 6(4x + 8) = 5(5x + 8)

☛ 24x + 48 = 25x + 40

☛ 48 - 40 = 25x - 24x

∴ x = 8


∴ Present age of Sanika ☛ 4x

☛ 4 × 8

∴ Present age of Amir ☛ 5x

☛ 5 × 8
