Given:-

Present ages of saika and amir are in the ratio 4:5.
Let
present age of saika amir are 4x and 5x

After 8 year ages will 5:6

 \frac{4x + 8}{5x + 8} = \frac{5}{6} \\ \\ 24x + 48 = 25x + 40 \\ 48 - 40 = 25x - 24x \\ x = 8
Hence

Present ages of saika =>4x=4×8=32✔

Present ages of amir=>5x=5×8=40✔

We have,

Present ages of saika and amir are in the ratio 4:5.

After 8 years, the  ratio will changed,

the ratio of their ages will be 5:6


Now,

We have to find the present age of Saika and Amir.


Let the of Saika and Amir be 4x and 5x respectively.


Find the value of x :-



A/q


=> (4x + 8)/(5x + 8) = 5/6

=>  5(5x + 8) = 6(4x + 8)

=> 25x + 40 = 24x = 48

=> 25x - 24x = 48 - 40

=> x = 8



Therefore, Saika age = 4x = 4×8 = 32

Amar age = 5x = 5 × 8 = 40



Answer : Age of Saika = 32 years

Age of Amar = 40 years
