present ages of suman and khushi are in ratio of 3:4 five years from now the ratio of their ages will be 4:5. find their present ages.​

Present ages:   Suman = 3x

                          Khushi = 4x

5 years later: Suman = 4x (or it can be written as) 3x + 5

                       Khushi = 5x (or it can be written as) 4x + 5

3x + 5 = 4x

5 = 4x - 3x

5 = x

Present age of Suman  = 3x = 3(5) = 15 years

Present age of Khushi  = 4x = 4(5) = 20 years

Solution :

Therefore,

And, Suppose the Present age of khushi be 4a

\implies \sf{-a = -5}
