- Respected guests, Salutations. Today the topic given to me for my speech is, "that the greatest wealth of a nation is its people".
Days of our lives go by as we try to conquer different lands, territories and people. The power struggle among nations still continues as one after the other a country and its leaders aim to cover up their debts and try to achieve maximum success in various ways. Technological advancements are also rushing, making their way to take over the world via digital platforms in various means. In such cases what is left of most importance. Some countries, leaders and people need to understand that taking over other countries, resources, getting power is indeed important. But the most important, i.e. the greatest wealth of a nation is its people. If it weren't for the people, the leader of a country would never be a leader whether it may be a democratic leader or a non-democrat even, in today's time. The ruling of the people matter the most. This is what should ideally matter. There are so many people dying due to war and violence which have been incited by a few proprietors. The lives of people, their livelihood and peace matters more than any resources to be taken over.
