Democracy without a political party is like a bird without wings. A country is democratic republic where :

i) where the citizens are free to express views.

ii) where the citizens are free to cast their vote.

iii) where the citizens can live a life with dignity.

A country is fully democratic if the citizens can choose their representatives . Without these rights a country is can't said to be a democratic Republic.
