Pressure is basically force per unit area.

Therefore, pressure= force/ area

Hope it helps!

If a force F is acting on an area A, then pressure can be found out by the formula

Pressure \: = \frac{force}{area} \\ \\ P = \frac{F}{A}

The SI unit of pressure is Pascal which is N/m^2.

When a force 1N acts on an area of 1m^2, then it produces a pressure of 1 Pascal.
