Pressure = Force / Area

==> Force = Area × Pressure

Given :

Pressure = 10⁵ Pa

Area = 2 m²

Force = 10⁵ Pa × 2 m²

          = 2 × 10⁵ Pa m²

          = 2 × 10⁵ N

The force applied is 2 × 10⁵ N
