Pressure groups and movements have impact on deepening of democracy.

It is argued that the groups and movements disrupt public order.

They influence political parties in the following ways:
1)They have raised the democratic consciousness among the people.
2)These movements have deepened democracy, they have ensured greater participation through meetings.
3)They have put pressure on the governments for producing more accountable and responsive government to the citizens.
4)They have ensured balance of power among conflicting groups and interests.

:) Hope this helps !!!
