We know that ,Pressure inside water,

P = ρgh

where ρ = density of water = 1000 kg/m³

          g = acceleration due to gravity = 9.8 m/s²

          h = depth = 1 m

Hence pressure,

P = 1000 x 9.8 x 1

= 9800 pascal.

Hence pressure at 1m depth will be 9800 pascal.
