Hey,

No, pressure donot increases with temperature.

PRESSURE : The force acting upon per unit area.

So, PRESSURE DEPENDS UPON TWO THINGS :

✔ The mass of force applied.

i.e. The greater the mass of force applied, the larger will be the effect of force. Thus, pressure will be greater.

The lesser the mass of force applied, the less will be the effect of force. Thus, pressure will be less.

✔ The area over which the force is applied.

i.e. The greater the area over which force is applied, the lesser will be the effect of force. Thus, pressure will be less.

The lesser the area over which force is applied, the greater will be the effect of force. Thus, pressure will be more.

Some applications of pressure are :

⚫ A porter covers his head with a cloth in ring shape before carrying heavy luggage in his head to increase the area of his head. Thus, the pressure on his head will be less.

⚫ A knife is sharpe and having pointed edge to decrease the area. Thus the pressure will be more and it will be easier to cut vegetables.

⚫ The tyres of busses and trucks are wide and they are double wheeled to increase the area. Thus, the pressure will be less and they can carry heavy loads.

⚫ The nails are having pointed tips at one end to decrease the area. Thus, the pressure will be more and the nail can be easily put into a surface.

✾ Answer of your question ✾

➤ No, Pressure doesn't increases with increase in temperature.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

⦿ The physical quantity that relates the force acting on an object and the area on which it acts is called Pressure. Hence, Pressure is defined as the force acting per unit area of an object

⦿ Pressure = Force \ Area

⦿ The unit of pressure is Newton \ Metre^2 in SI system. This unit is also called Pascal, after the French scientist, Blaise Pascal. Pressure can also be measured in kg-wt \ m^2. The CGS unit of pressure is dyne \ cm^2.

⦿ Pressure depends on two factors.

▶ The mass of the force applied.

It means,
The greater the mass of force, the larger the force will be applied and hence It will increase the pressure.

▶ The Surface area of the object.

This means,
The lesser the area of contact, the force applied on the object will be less but the pressure exerted will be more.

➤Applications Of pressure

Pressure find its various applications in everyday life.

① Knife has a sharp blade for cutting. The edge which is sharp has less area. This decreased area increases pressure and the things are cut easily.

②Nails and needles have a pointed tip to decrease area of contact.

③ Heavy animals like elephant have broad feet to decrease the pressure exerted by them on the ground while they walk.

④ Tankers have caterpillar wheels to increase the area and there by exert less pressure on the ground while they move on.
