Pressure on the surface of gas is increased. what will happen to the inner particle forces?

When pressure is exerted on the gas, the intermolecular forces gets overpowered and under the effect of the external pressure, the molecue get closer. Conclusively, as the particles moved closer, the intermolecular forces will exert more force and a net amount of force over the particles will increase.
