Answer:

There are certain diseases that can not be treated so the prevention is better than cure. When someone is ill, person body functions get weakened and can never fully recover. It takes time to cure a disease and the person is likely to be in bedridden for some time, even though adequate care is provided to him.

When a disease affects the body, there will be a problem is the functioning of body organs. Medications will have to be administered and they could cause allergies as side effects. Also, there are some diseases for which the cure is not available. Therefore, prevention is better than cure because:

Viral diseases and sexually transmitted diseases are hard to cure and once contacted, they can be life-threatening.

Children have a weak immune system, they need to be immunized.

Vector-borne, water-borne, air-borne diseases develop in the surroundings, so cleanliness should be a priority.
