Asthma is a respiratory disease. Asthma is caused due to inflammation in airways. During asthma attack the muscles surrounding the air ways became tight and there is decrease in passage of air through it, this causes airways of lungs to swell and become narrow. The symptoms of asthma includes Difficulty in breathing and wheezing due to bronchi and bronchioles inflammation. It also includes pain in chest and coughing.
There are certain substances which can trigger asthma attack in patients which includes pollens, dusts, animal hair, mold etc.
Asthma can be prevented by avoiding the exposure to all those triggering factors that cause asthma.
Also consultation with doctor for proper medication can also help to reduce the effect of the asthma
