Price of 2 books is equal to the price of 4 notebooks. If price of 5 notebooks is 350 rupees.Find out the price of 3 books and 3 notebooks

Let say price of one book is X, and price of one pen is Y.

2X+3Y =225

3x+4Y= 320

By multiplying 3 in equation 1 and multiplying 2 in equation 2

6X+9Y =675

6X +8Y = 640

So by elimination method Y is equal to 35.

The cost the cost of one pen is 35 rupees.
