The initial price of the shirt was 800 and it then howsoever decreased to 600.

That's perfectly explicit that there's a reduction of Rs. 200.

The percent decrease's formula is :- (Decreased Amount / Original Amount) × 100

Applying that, we'll get :- 200/800×100

On solving, the answer would be 25 percent.

Shubham8800: its wrong answer
Shubham8800: because you are dividing it with 200 but it should be 600
Shubham8800: ok
Shubham8800: but he decreased more than 50 percent because 400 is 50 percent of 800 and there is 600
yashistar27: whose amswer is correct
yashistar27: i dont know please tell
Shubham8800: my answer is correct and his formula is correct
yashistar27: thanks bro thank u so mich
