Price of a television is 14000 inclusive of vat. If the rate of vat is 12 % then find the basic price of television.

Price of tv inc vat- 14000
Rate of vat - 12%

Price of tv excluding vat= 14000*100/112
=12500

Including vat it is 112% so for basic price it is 14000*100/112=12500
