Original price of the sugar = Rs. 20
New price of the sugar = Rs. 23
I.e. Increase in price = Rs.( 23-20)= Rs. 3
Hence ,
Percentage increase = Increase in value / Original value *100
= 3/20*100
= 15℅
Ans. 15% increase is there in price of sugar .
New price of the sugar = Rs. 23
