this statement is dedicated to Mrs packletide. her ambition was to make loona bimberton jealous of her. she decided to hunt a tiger and present a claw brooch to loona .the packletides main motive was to make her Fame and popularity and wanted her image to be displayed on newspaper and magazines but this could not last for long. eventually her Desire to gain Fame was curtailed when miss mebbin demanded her money to keep the secret unrevealed. in this way her Pride goes before a fall.....

Packletide was a vain , shrewd and miserly lady. She wanted to outshine her arch rival Loona by killing a tiger and she wanted her to feel jealous.
But she was not aware about the fact that this would later become a mockery and at last she suffered from a great loss of money as she paid 1000 to villagers nd 680 pounds to Mebbin.
