Think-Tank was the ruler Mars was proud of his wisdom, as the had a huge balloon like head. He thought he was the most knowledgeable and wisest. He wanted nobody to disobey him or even dare to speak against him. He claimed that he have the quickest mind. He misinterpreted the rhymes of the Mother Goose. The rhyme Mistress Mary made him ponder about Earth's discoveries. The rhyme Hey diddle diddle made him alarmed and the rhyme Humpty Dumpty frightened him so much that he ran away from earth and even Mars - to Alpha centauri. And thus Pride made a great fall.

• The Martians had invaded the Earth and reached the library. Their boss was Think-Tank and he was 'proud of his wisdom' and though he was the 'wisest person on Mars'. Nobody dared to disobey him, or 'dare to speak against him'.
• He asserted that he was quick-minded and had scant respect for others and consider others opinions as trifling. Moreover, he was fickle-minded too. He had misconstrued the rhymes in a complete verbal manner. The rhyme mistress Mar made him contemplate on the Earth’s discovery.
• From the poem diddle-diddle he was alarmed and from the poem humpty-dumpty he was very frightened that he decided to flee his kingdom and go to Alpha Centauri. Hence, 'his wisdom was defeated' and 'he had a great fall'.
