Both the trees are growing next to each other, but when autumn came the fig tree lost all his leaves, but at the same time the olive tree was still flourishing. Seeing a fig tree in this condition the olives become proud and made fun of fig tree. The 'fig tree' tried to convince them that it is done by the will of God and he has no control on it, but the olives continued to make fun of him. After some time there was 'heavy snowfall' and all of the 'olives leaves' were laden with snow but 'fig was without any snow'. Its then that the olives realized that vanity of pride.
