As we know that -

  • Primary Valency is equal to Oxidation number (O.N.) of the central metal.

And

  • Secondary Valency is equal to Co-ordinarion number (C.N.) of central metal.

Then,

Primary Valency =

→ x + 0×4 - 1×2 - 1 + 2×0 = 0

→ x = +3

And

Secondary Valency =

  • Ligan × Denticity

→ 1×4 + 1×3

→ 4 + 3

→ 7
