The primary institution of democracy in the levels of the local bodies, or state bodies, or the national bodies are described below:-

Democracy was first introduced during the time of French revolution where  liberty, equality, and fraternity were demanded. This concept of democracy is also used in India's constitution. In order to maintain it's rules and regulations there are various bodies present, they are Parliament and the state legislatures, the Supreme Court and high courts, and political parties.

Local bodies are the self-governing bodies on the local level that administer small community or area such as cities, town or villages in order to maintain peace.

State bodies are the governing bodies that handle the state as in whole and take steps for the betterment of the state.

National bodies are the central bodies that work for the whole nation to maintain peace and prosperity.
