Primary data is a real-time data whereas secondary data is one which relates to the past. Primary data is collected for addressing the problem at hand while secondary data is collected for purposes other than the problem at hand.

Answer: Primary is like a picture or something that person wrote but secondary is handed down information from someone else copied of that topic.

Like say you were going to use the information i just told you:

My information would be primary because it would be the original copy of the topic

But if you copied it then it would be secondary information because it’s not the word by word information. Also if it involved your opinion then it would not be important to readers because it wouldn’t be the primary source they would be looking for.
